Ultimate Dubs 14-03-10 Part #2 – Let’s go outside…

Outside the main hall was the club displays and the car park; always worth a mooch:

Hard Slammed MK1’s hard slammed MK1! This is commitment to LOW!

Ultimate Dubs 14-03-10 Part #1

For me, UD pretty much kicks of the shows for 2010 and in quite some style.  Indoor shows are always nice at this time of year when the weather is as reliable as, um, an old Volkswagen and it’s certainly a gentle ease-in to the show scene after a winter of hibernation.  The organisers run a strict door policy: only the sickest and most high-end cars get in, so you are always sure to see some awesome motors and some fresh metal; usually with the paint still wet from a race to meet the deadline for this weekend!

I’ll kick off with pretty much my car of the show: G-Werks fresh, 9-day built MK4 R32:

Bently paint x Lambo wheels x Porsche brakes x Air ride

Ok, I’m not on commission so we’ll move on…

MK1 Perfection. TDi power.

I was so into this Beetle, especially the Porsche seats (in MK5 GTi trim) and cage; it just worked so well!

Stay tuned for more pics soon…

Players ‘09 20-09-09 Part #2

It’s pretty much been the summer of Air and Players was no different; T3D did well with the awards and it’s pretty clear why:

You’ll get no apologies for the hundreds of pics I’m posting of “that” Brasilia. Car of the year?

Big thanks to Elliot for hooking me up with a Wheel Whores T-Shirt. Loving the knocking shop!

PAPPED!

The trophies were awesome; some real time had been spent on the top prizes.

I got a sticker on my windscreen meaning I had won! Unfortunately, there were more stickers than awards so I never got a trophy Ha Ha!

As I got such a huge response for the ED38 pics, I thought I would throw up a couple more. Enjoy!

Edition 38 06-09-09

So, this weekend I thought I would indulge myself in all things euro and smoke over to ED38.  It’s not like anything that goes down on the Japanese or Retro scene, so made for a refreshing day out.  The show is pretty much solely focussed on being chilled out (not including the two-day rager that goes on over Friday and Saturday) with cars built primarily for fitment, awesomeness and to step up and do something different.  The quality was amazing too; so much attention to detail.  Plus, you’ve gotta love having a DJ playing killer tunes on the main show field; Topped of the last hurrah for summer a treat.

Here’s a few of my pics:

This pretty much sums it up for me.

Air Ride meets Air Cooled.

When you see it, you will sh*t bricks…

Yep, the UK is pretty much killing it right now.
